Ballet Under the Stars
Ballet takes over the ballpark! Join Ballet Spartanburg at Fifth Third Park for Ballet Under the Stars, a FREE evening of live performances, dance lessons, family activities, train rides and more. Gates open at 5 PM with activities for all ages, followed by live performances at 7 PM. Registration and a digital or printed ticket are required for entry.

USC Upstate will light up the night with its annual Morgan Square Madness at Fifth Third Park, a fan-favorite event that kicks off the basketball season and brings the community together. More than just a pep rally, it’s a celebration of school spirit, local talent, and the unwavering support behind USC Upstate’s men’s and women’s basketball teams.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s
Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. Held annually in over 600 communities, this inspiring walk brings together people of all ages to honor those affected by the disease and support the fight for a cure. Join us to help make a difference.

Chuck-or-Treat, in collaboration with Spartanburg Parks and Recreation Boo Bash, presented by Ingles is coming to Fifth Third Park on October 28! Join us for a spooktacular night starting at 5pm of Halloween fun, activities, and more. 🎃

Heart Walk 2027
Most cardiac arrest victims outside the hospital don’t survive, often because no one nearby performs CPR. With more people trained, lives can be saved—just like the young athlete whose coach acted quickly. The American Heart Association encourages everyone to learn CPR and join the Heart Walk to help build communities ready to respond in emergencies. Registering and participating supports CPR training, research, and lifesaving action. You can be part of the effort to save lives.

Race to Homeplate 2027
Lace up your running shoes and join us at Fifth Third Park for the Race to Home Plate 5K. Whether you’re chasing a personal best, walking with friends, or bringing the family for the Kids Fun Run, every step helps make a difference in our community. This fun and family-friendly event benefits TOTAL Ministries, a local nonprofit dedicated to assisting Spartanburg County residents facing financial hardship through food assistance, utility support, heating assistance, prescription medication assistance, and other essential services. By participating, you’ll help provide hope and practical support to neighbors in need while enjoying a memorable race experience at one of Spartanburg’s premier venues. Join us as we race toward a stronger, more caring community—one mile at a time.
